Separation per client, demonstrable
Each engagement keeps its own consent basis, retention period and permissions, with an audit trail that lets you show the separation rather than assert it. Where you record inside a client’s premises, the obligations under Article 4 are theirs to complete, and the arrangement should say so in writing.
